Danish Buildings Brochure
Danish Buildings Brochure
Brochure design for creative studio spaces in Hull
We developed a brochure for Danish Buildings and Bayles House, two characterful creative workspace buildings in the heart of Hull’s Old Town. The project required more than a simple property brochure, so we created a mini visual identity that captured the balance between the buildings’ historic architecture and their thriving community of modern creatives.
A clean, contemporary sans-serif typeface was paired with a more expressive handwritten style to reflect both the professional and creative nature of the spaces. Colours were drawn directly from the interiors and architectural details throughout the buildings, creating a palette that felt authentic to the environment. We also redesigned all floor plans into clear, engaging graphics that made it easier for prospective tenants to understand and compare the available spaces.
Custom graphic elements were developed from visual cues found within the buildings themselves. Flowing linework weaves throughout the brochure, appearing and disappearing behind photography and content to create a sense of movement, connection and creativity. These elements helped unify the design while bringing energy to the layouts and guiding readers through the information.
Designed for both print and digital use, the final brochure combines photography, floor plans and key information into a cohesive piece of marketing collateral that showcases the personality of the buildings while presenting practical information in a clear and accessible format.
