Brand identity, menu design and merchandise for a university library café

We created a contemporary brand identity for a café at a local university, blending the refined aesthetic of speciality coffee with an academic atmosphere. The challenge was balancing appeal: modern and approachable for students, yet professional enough for academics.

A muted colour palette was chosen to complement the café’s interior, while a clean, modern typeface reinforced the contemporary feel. Custom illustrations added subtle energy and personality, helping the café feel lively without losing its sense of purpose as a place to study and work.

The identity extended across menus, posters and merchandise, with grid-based layouts and structured designs that felt effortless yet professional. Deliverables included the brand book, logo, menu and poster designs, packaging and tote bags — all carrying the same cohesive visual language.
